In these exciting times of new technology and advances I guess I have to explain this. I was born a female. I am still a female. I love being a woman. I'm 6'3, very strong, urm... pretty heavy, lol, that equates to deep pressure if you want it. I am an African American German, hence the colors. I was raised in Germany. Other than a short stay inTexas (which I loved), I've been in Colorado most of my life. I'm LGBTQ friendly, and while I'm a bit queer, I'm not LGBT or Q- or am I? What's the Qreally for?! I have a colorful personality to say the least. I have admiration for many cultures. I speak German pretty well and even though some say I look Mexican, I don't speak Spanish, hehehe.
For my deep peeps!! If you want crazy deep pressure- You've found the right girl discussions will be had before and during the massage as needed though.
I personally love the fluff 'n buffs (lighter pressure massages). Massages don't have to hurt to be effective. Light massages do still involve some discussion.
My massage style is pretty smooth. My sense of pressure is consistent- whether you want light, moderate, firm, or deep pressure. I like for my movements to flow, and I work in a way that encourages the Relaxation Response to retrain nerve patterns. I'm known to educate people about their potential postural idiosyncrasies, and how to spot and avoid them. I'm excellent at deep work, I've rarely had people tell me I'm not deep enough. If I go easy, it's usually because you asked me to, or sometimes we might find that it's not in your body's best interest to receive deep work or pressure.
Swedish Massage was the first technique I learned. I understand and appreciate the benefits of lighter pressure during treatment. I used to have several areas that were over-sensitive to receiving touch. That's given me a knack for working on people who are or may be "jumpy" on the massage table, and those who experience difficulty relaxing.
I whole-heartedly enjoy my line of work. I hope to work with you soon!
